Named after Krzysztof Penderecki’s composition, Polymorphia (2018) is an interactive installation exploring the human condition and empathy. The installation featured an immersive experience that gave the viewer a glimpse into the memories of 48 people, delving into individual recollections overlaid with recorded audio and red tinted imagery. The overall installation allowed the viewer to explore a realm of the familiar and the unfamiliar via this video, patterned paintings and sculptures displayed on a collaged wall.

Finding a Way Back (2015) was filmed & photographed at an abandoned mental institution. I have been fascinated by the environments inside these structures for many years, and when I see remnants from the past, I can begin to conjure up a narrative. The two characters are a couple with a difficult past, but seem to always find a way back. In this short film, I experimented with combining video and photographs I had taken at the hospital.

An Average Night (2015) was made for a photography project that involved two characters interacting in a eerie setting. I decided to loop the images to create this short film. Their relationship is toxic, and the two can't seem to escape one another. But can't stay away, either.

Dinner for 2 (2014) is based on a dream that I had, and initially, was a way for me to experiment with video.
With this short film, I received the Undergraduate Award at the 32nd Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition at the University of Memphis. (Juror: Warren) Lehrer) |
